When web users in China are aiming to chat with AI just for enjoyable, they’re not likely to turn to assistants like Apple’s Siri or Xiaomi’s Xiao AI. Instead, China’s „fun“ AI of option actually originates from Microsoft, and it will quickly be an independent business.

The procedure will be finished in the next couple of months, the business added. Chinese news site Caixin reported that the Covid-19 pandemic and tensions in between the US and China accelerated the spin-off procedure.
